Disaster Case Advocacy Outreach Coordinators will be visiting neighborhoods in Palo Alto County that were affected by the June 2024 floods. Canvassing is expected to last 3-4 weeks. Coordinators can help connect survivors with unmet needs with the Disaster Case Advocacy Program (DCA).

Anticipated Start Dates

Lyon County: August 5

Palo Alto County: August 6

Emmet County: Mid-week August 6-8

Humboldt County: August 6-8

Osceola County: August 7-10

Dickinson County: August 7-12

Hours of Operation

Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM

DCA Coordinators will wear neon-colored vests for easy identification. They will also carry ID indicating they work for Tetra Tech and work in pairs.  

DCA Coordinators visiting neighborhoods will never ask for Social Security Numbers, photo IDs or other forms of identification, or income information at the door.

Disaster Case Advocates can support survivors with: 

Navigating FEMA, Insurance, SBA, and other processes

Applying for programs and assistance

·       Identifying and accessing new resources

·       Developing a home repair or rebuild plan

·       Creating a unique recovery plan with steps to reach your recovery goals

·       And more, based on your disaster-related needs
