graettinger1893!

Dear Residents of Graettinger,

As summer comes to an end across our beautiful city, I am delighted to share some updates and upcoming events that promise to bring us all together and celebrate the spirit of our vibrant community.

Community Events

·       Graettinger Labor Day: Join us downtown for music, food trucks, local vendors, and fun activities for all ages. Let’s create memories and support our local businesses.

·       Farmers Market: Every Thursday morning at the city park, our Farmers Market is bursting with fresh produce, homemade goods, and friendly faces. Stop by to enjoy.

·       Library Downtown Story Walk: The library will have a new book displayed on our downtown businesses every 2 weeks. Once  your family gets done reading the story stop in the Library and visit Leslie to get that book you just read for free to take home and enjoy again and again!

City Improvements

·       Street Repairs & Beautification: Crews are hard at work upgrading several roads and painting crosswalks. We appreciate your patience as we make Graettinger safer and more beautiful for everyone.

·       New Playground Equipment: Our Visioning Committee will be installing the  new equipment at City View Park. Stay tuned for updates!

Public Safety

·       Fire Safety Tips: Our fire department reminds everyone to test your smoke detectors and follow safe grilling practices during backyard barbecues.

·       Community Watch: Please report any suspicious activity to city officials. Together, we help keep Graettinger a safe place to live, work, and play.

Get Involved

·       Volunteers Needed: If you’re interested in joining  our Planning and Zoning Commission for city projects, please reach out to City Hall. Your participation makes a real difference!

As always, I value your ideas, feedback, and commitment to our city’s future. Let’s continue to nurture the warmth and resilience that makes Graettinger truly special.

Wishing you a joyful and memorable month!

Brandon Armstrong

Mayor of Graettinger
