The City of Graettinger would like to remind everyone that all dogs and cats should be registered with city. The city will provide you with a tag you can attach to your furbaby's collar. This service allows us to identify your pet and give you a call if found. All Dogs and cats should be registered over 5 months old. Please refer to Ordinance Chapter 55 - available for review at City Hall for all questions. If a dog or cat strays, it may be impounded and the owner or keeper may be cited for having an animal at large. The citation is a summons to court with the punishment and/or fine determined by the judge. A pet that is impounded is not being punished—it’s being protected. We appreciate all your help and remind you to keep your animals hydrated in this extreme ly hot weather.
